During my summer residency of 2019 I did a study of two small sheds on the Eastern part of Prince Edward Island, Canada. This series is a result of this study. At the time they were painted it was difficult to get art supplies because of COVID and so I decided to paint the series on small canvas stretchers.

A compilation of several barns and boats during different seasons. Often barns are passed down from generation to generation and serve as family markers. In a similar sense some of the boats painted have been crafted by hand and overtime become as much apart of the landscape they live in.
